ICR Water Color Link Party - Blog Hop

Hi,

ICR has a very special place in my heart since my so many *1st* crafting things had started with it... i.e. my first ever meet with crafty people, my first ever crafting workshop, my 1st quilling n card making workshops, my first ever registered crafty blog etc etc.... And yes, today my first ever blog hop participation.....

Today I am here to show you my entry for  the ongoing ICR water color link party blog hop.... My take is very simple and related to the coming season of joy n cheers....

I have stamped the fireworks using Hero Arts Fireworks stamp... I made use of masking technique into that. The ornate and the "Holiday Cheer" are from Just Rite Holiday Cheers Ornaments Stamp set. I have gold embossed it first and then colored it with distress inks Festive Berries and Mustard Seed. Then I stamped the "Let Your Light Shine" from the Heidiswapps stamp set.

As you know, none of my cards are complete without few blings, so I added few of them....

Yes, I am a beginner into this crafting world and learning new techniques day by day....This is my very first trial at Gold Embossing and Water Coloring with DIs.  All negative and positive reviews are welcome.....

ATC August 2015 @ ATC Club India

This is my take on August 2015 swap at ATC Club India. The theme was to create monochromatic ATC. I took white as my base color and black as mono color with it.

I have made it very simple by creating the background with Spellbinders background creating dies. The feathers look so lovely and are gifted by my lovely sis Shraddha. As I have always told, my no project or card is complete without adding blings so I had added the two white blingies to the stamped center.

I hope you like it. If yes, then please feel free to comment here. Thanks for dropping by.

Generation Stamping + Masking

Generation Stamping + Masking

Hi,

Today I had tried my hands on generation stamping + masking for the first time. Below is the card images.

I took a white card base and then applied the Mustard Seeds distess ink on it. After that I did generation stamping of the leaves using the Penny Black Petal Party stamp set. For the leaves I made use of again Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint and  Mowed Laws disress inks. The lowest stamping of leaves are the 1st generation stamping, above that there is 2nd generation of stamping and then the top row is 3rd generaion stamping.

The beautiful flowers are the main focal point of my card. To make them I stamped my the most favourite Hero Arts Flower, distressed them using Wild Honey and then fussy cut them. The center of the flowers are made of a glitter balls and matching blings. The leaves are again fussy cut. To give dimentsion to the card, I have made use of the double sided tape.

For the lower layer, I have die cut the boarders using Sizzix boarder die, applied the Mowed Lawn distress ink and then glued down. For the upper layer, I took a simple satin bottle green ribbon and adhered it.

The sentiment is made of Spellbinders Magical Elements Die set and the sentiment is again from Penny Black Petal Party Stamp set, stamped using Archieval Jet Black ink. My cards are incomplete without a bling on them and so I kind of find my way of using them anyway into my work :) so I have added them onto the 4 corners of my sentiment :):):)

I hope you like the card.... I am linking the card to the
Sketch Challenge 2015 on the A Blog Named Hero.

Vintage Theme ATC

I had participated in ATC India Club Swap for the month of June. The theme was Vintage. Initially I was very much nervous about creating an ATC on this theme because I had never tried my hands on this theme. I tried many combinations and templates and then finally decided to go for this. I was happy and content with the final outcome, may be it's not up-to the mark but still I am happy that I tried my best. And what's more, my partner liked it too...

The supplies which are used :

- Pattern paper from Itsy Bitsy
- Tim Holtz Vinatge Photo Distress Ink
- Sentiment stamped from Penny Black Petal Party Stamp Set
- Used Spellbinders Magical Elements die to create the base of the sentiment
- Blings from local store.

I hope you like it. Don't forget to write your views on it.
Thanks for coming over.
